Removal & Installation: Notes

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section before disconnecting battery.

NOTE: All components listed under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION can be removed without removing steering column. To remove all other components, remove steering column, and then perform appropriate procedure under OVERHAUL . For exploded view of steering column assembly, see Figure -Figure .
