Voltmeter Test

Turn ignition on. Install voltmeter between battery terminals and note reading. If voltmeter reading on vehicle differs from battery voltage reading, ensure wiring to voltmeter is okay and connections are tight. If connections and wiring are okay, replace voltmeter or IPC.
