Ignition Lock System

Models with column shift, use a wedged shaped mechanical finger on the ignition switch actuator rod to prevent the lock cylinder from being turned to START position unless shift lever is in Park or Neutral. A column mounted Park Neutral Position (PNP) switch is used.
