Right Mirror Does Not Operate Properly

  1. Using mirror select switch, select RIGHT mirror. Using test light, backprobe between power mirror switch terminals "D" (Gray wire) and "F" (Red/White wire). Move power mirror switch to LEFT and RIGHT positions. If test light illuminates in both positions, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate in both positions, go to step 4).
  2. Using test light, backprobe between power mirror switch terminals "D" (Gray wire) and "C" (Purple/White wire). Move power mirror switch to UP and DOWN positions. If test light illuminates in both positions, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate in both positions, go to step 4).
  3. Disconnect right power mirror motor connector. Connect test light between right mirror motor harness connector terminal "A" (Gray wire) and ground. Move power mirror switch to LEFT position. If test light illuminates, go to step 5). If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6).
  4. Replace power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
  5. Connect test light between right mirror motor harness connector terminal "B" (Red/White wire) and ground. Move power mirror switch to RIGHT position. If test light illuminates, go to step 7). If test light does not illuminate, go to step 8).
  6. Repair open in Gray wire between right mirror motor and power mirror. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Recheck system operation.
  7. Connect test light between right mirror motor harness connector terminal "C" (Purple/White wire) and ground. Move power mirror switch to DOWN position. If test light illuminates, go to step 9). If test light does not illuminate, go to step 10).
  8. Repair open in Red/White wire between right mirror motor and power mirror switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Recheck system operation.
  9. Replace right mirror motor. To remove power mirror assembly, see POWER MIRROR ASSEMBLY  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
  10. Repair open in Purple/White wire between right mirror motor and power mirror switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Recheck system operation.
