Test F: Power Window Lockout Function Is Inoperative

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position. Disconnect the left front window switch harness connector. Using a test light backprobe between the left front window switch harness connector C2 terminal A and ground. If test light illuminates, go to step  3. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
  2. Replace the left front window switch. See WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repair has been made, go to POWER WINDOWS SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLESHOOTING.
  3. Repair short to battery power in circuit 1307. After repair has been made, go to POWER WINDOWS SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLESHOOTING.
