Passenger Window Lockout Feature

The following are modes of operation for passenger window lockout feature:

• Mode 0
  
  Lock out rear windows only.
• Mode 1
  
  Lock out all of passenger windows (Default).

Program window lockout function using Driver Information Center (DIC). Perform the following:

1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Place transmission selector lever in "P" position. Press ENG/MET button for 5 seconds. DIC displays WELCOME TO BUICK OPTION FEATURE. Then PRESS ENG/MET to select options, then PRESS RESET to go to next choice. DIC then displays DRIVER #: 1 2. An arrow is shown next to the current driver. Press ENG/MET button to change DRIVER # for programming.
2. Press RESET button in order to advance to WINDOW LOCKOUT: REAR/R+PASS option. Press ENG/MET button in order to place arrow before desired choice. Press RESET button in order to advance to next option or if programming is complete, OPTION FEATURE SELECTION DONE appears on DIC display. To exit programming before the list is complete, press DIC buttons: ODO/TRIP, FUEL INFO or GAGE INFO. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
