Installation Procedure

Important:  After the IPM is replaced, recalibrate the actuators for proper travel. Turn ON the ignition for 3 minutes to recalibrate the IPM and the actuators for proper travel.

  1. Connect the electrical connectors to the IPM.
  2. Install the IPM (1) into the retainer on the bracket (2). See Figure.
  3. Close the instrument panel compartment.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
