Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Removing/Installing Air Cleaner Element

  2. Remove the air cleaner element cover wing screws.
  3. Remove the air cleaner element cover.
  4. Remove the air cleaner element from the air cleaner assembly.
  5. Inspect the air cleaner element for dust, dirt, water and replace if required.
  6. Remove any loose debris that may be found laying in the base of the air cleaner assembly housing.
