Removal Procedure
- Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
- Place the fuel tank onto a workbench.
- Remove the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement .
- Press the fuel tank baffle (1) completely down as shown in the picture.
- Push the lug (2) toward the baffle and hold it.
- Release tension from the fuel tank baffle (1) until the lug (2) engages safely.
- Remove the baffles (1) one by one.
- Repeat steps 5 to 8 to remove the other baffle.
