Installation Procedure

Install a NEW fuel sender O-ring gasket (2) to the fuel tank fuel pump module (1).

Lower the fuel tank fuel pump module into the fuel tank while connecting the auxiliary fuel feed pipe (1) to the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

Install the fuel pump lock ring (1) to the fuel tank.
Install the J-45722 Fuel Pump Locking Ring Wrench to the fuel pump lock ring (1).
Using the J-45722 Fuel Pump Locking Ring Wrench and a long breaker-bar, rotate the fuel pump lock ring (1) in a clockwise direction in order to lock the lock ring.

Connect the fuel pipe (2) to the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
Connect the fuel tank wiring harness (1) to the fuel tank fuel pump module.
Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
