Removal Procedure

  1. Reposition the seat as necessary to access the bolts.
  2. GM5968836

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel Bolt (1) - Remove

  3. Release the retainers with a suitable plastic trim tool.
  4. Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left Side (2) - Remove
  5. GM5968840

    Release the retainers with a suitable plastic trim tool.

  6. Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Right Side (1) - Remove
  7. GM6313696

    Press the integral retainer of keyless entry control module bracket (1).

  8. GM6313697

    Press the integral retainer of keyless entry control module bracket (1).

  9. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  10. GM6313699

    Reposition the floor carpet to remove the keyless entry control module.

  11. Keyless Entry Control Module (1) - Remove
