Engine speed Sensor

The engine speed sensor signal comes from a 7 terminal HEI module in the distributor. Pulses from the distributor are sent to ECM where time between pulses is used to calculate engine speed. The ECM adds spark advance modifications to signal, and sends this signal back to the distributor.
