Preliminary Checks

The following systems and components must be in good operating condition prior to trouble shooting fuel system.

• Ensure no hard codes are stored in the memory.
• All support systems and wiring.
• Battery condition and specific gravity.
• Ignition system condition.
• Engine compression pressure.
• Fuel supply pressure and flow.
• Electrical connections and terminals.
• Vacuum lines, fuel hoses and pipe connections.
• Exhaust system.
• Ensure "Engine Control Light" is operable.
