Engine Control Module (ECM): Notes

The Engine Control Module (ECM), located under the instrument panel on the passenger side, is the control center of the fuel injection system. It constantly monitors information from various sensors, and controls the systems that affect vehicle performance. For service, the ECM has two parts; the Controller (the ECM without the MEM-CAL and the Memory-Calibration unit (MEM-CAL).
