Ignition Coil

For testing Ignition Coil:

1. Detach wiring connectors from cap.
2. Turn four screws and remove cap and coil assembly from lower housing.
3. Connect ohmmeter, test 1, see Fig 1 . Reading should be zero, or nearly zero. If not, replace coil.
4. Connect ohmmeter both ways, test 2, see Fig 1 . Use high scale. replace coil only if both readings are infinite.
