Diagnostic Testing: Notes

NOTE: Diagnostic testing is intended for use in conjunction with trouble code charts. Before using trouble code charts, become completely familiar with procedures in DIAGNOSTIC TESTING.

When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in this Section before disconnecting battery.
