Unable To Communicate With Radio Receiver

  1. Check for DTC U1128. See BCM DTC DEFINITION  . If DTC U1128 exists, see appropriate test under DIAGNOSIS & REPAIR  . If DTC U1128 does not exist, go to next step.
  2. Check radio function. If radio is functioning properly, go to next step. If radio is not functioning properly, repair as necessary.
  3. Check for a poor connection at radio receiver 32-pin connector terminal F6 (Brown/White wire). Repair as necessary. If connection is okay, replace radio receiver.
