Shift Interlock Solenoid
WARNING:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION section before disconnecting battery.
NOTE:
Shift interlock solenoid is non-adjustable. If shift interlock system is out of adjustment, check park lock cable adjustment. If adjustment is not possible, replace necessary components. Some models require that park lock cable and shift interlock solenoid be replaced as an assembly.
