Tachometer Inoperative/Inaccurate: Testing

Connect scan tool. Check for DTCs. If any DTCs exist, diagnose and repair as necessary. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC - SYSTEM . If no DTCs exist, check for open or short in White wire between IPC Blue 24-pin connector C1, terminal A5 and PCM Clear 80-pin connector C2, terminal No. 28. Repair as necessary. Recheck system operation.
