DTC B1007: EEPROM Write Error: Testing

  1. If diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If diagnostic system check was not performed, go to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using scan tool clear any DTCs. Turn ignition off. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If DTC is still present, go to next step. If DTC is no longer present, system okay. Verify system operation.
