Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle.
  2. Remove the Allen bolt (2) from the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) mounting bracket (3) located on the sensor side.
  3. Raise the BPMV to access the brake fluid pressure sensor.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake fluid pressure sensor.

    NOTE: The replacement of the old brake fluid pressure sensor must be performed quickly to reduce the amount of fluid that is lost during the procedure.
  6. Use a wrench to keep the brake fluid pressure sensor collar from turning (1). Remove the brake fluid pressure sensor (2) from the BPMV.
