Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the rear of the headliner to gain access to the sunroof control module. Refer to Headliner Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Cut the tie strap securing the electrical harness to the drive cable tube.
  3. Depress the tab (3) on the forward side of the sunroof control module (1).
  4. With the lock tab (3) depressed, slide the sunroof control module towards the sunroof actuator in order to release the control module from the sunroof module assembly.

  5. Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
  6. Remove the sunroof control module from the sunroof module assembly.
