Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the lateral accelerometer (2).
Tighten: Tighten the two lateral accelerometer nuts (1) to 3 N.m (24 lb in).
Connect the lateral accelerometer connector.
Install the passenger seat. Refer to Seat Replacement (Power) or Seat Replacement (Manual) in Seats.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, engine off.
Perform the Diagnostic System Check - ABS .
