Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the lateral accelerometer sensor (1) onto the mounting studs.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor nuts to 2.4 N.m (21 lb in).

  2. Connect the lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (2).
  3. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT SYSTEM  in Seats.
  4. Perform the ABS Diagnostic System Check. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK - ABS   .
