Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wheel speed sensor to the steering knuckle.
  2. Install the wheel speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the wheel speed sensor harness retainer (1) to the strut bracket.

  4. Install the wheel speed sensor harness clips (1) to the front brake hose.

  5. Install the wheel speed sensor harness clip (1) to the vehicle frame.

  6. Install the wheel speed sensor connector clip (1) to the vehicle frame.

  7. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  8. Install the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (V-Series) and Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series) .
  9. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (October 4th 2015 and Earlier) and Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (October 5th 2015 and Later) .
  10. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
