Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Junction Block Base & Nut

  1. Position the junction block base (2) to the inner wheelhouse stud.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the junction block base nut (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  3. Install the junction block to the base.
  4. Install the junction block bolts (1) and tighten to 7.2 N.m (64 lb in).

  5. Position the positive battery cable to the junction block.
  6. Install the positive battery cable nut (1) and tighten to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  7. Install the electrical steering wiring harness (1).

  8. Install both front compartment fuse block covers (1, 2).
  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
