Installation Procedure
- Install the fuse block (3) to the top of the battery with the retainers (2).
- Install the hold down strap (4) to the battery positive post.
- Install the fuse block battery positive cable clamp (1) to the battery positive post.
- Install the battery positive cable (1) to the fuse block stud and tighten the fastener (2) to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
- Tighten the fuse block battery positive cable clamp fastener (2) to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
- Install the body harness terminals to the fuse block studs and tighten the fasteners (4) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the front compartment fuse block cable terminal (3) to the fuse block stud and tighten the fastener (2) to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
- Install the fuse block cover (1).
- Install the battery cover.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
