Anti-Theft System: Operation

The system is "armed" when all windows are closed, ignition key removed, and doors locked. When a forced entry is attempted, the alarm warning system will trip, causing the horn to sound intermittently and the exterior lights to flash for 3-7 minutes. On models with starter interrupt relay, the starter will cease to function. The system is "disarmed" by unlocking either front door with a key.
