ECM TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION

12 (1) No distributor reference to ECM
13 Open oxygen sensor circuit.
14 Coolant sensor circuit signal voltage low.
15 Coolant sensor circuit signal voltage high.
21 TPS signal voltage high.
22 TPS signal voltage low.
23 M/C Solenoid Circuit Low.
24 VSS circuit.
24B Park/Neutral Switch.
25 MAT sensor high.
31 Wastegate solenoid.
32 BARO sensor circuit.
33 MAP sensor voltage too high.
34 MAP sensor voltage too low.
41 No distributor reference circuit.
43 ESC retard signal too low.
44 Lean oxygen sensor value.
45 Rich oxygen sensor value.
51 Faulty PROM, PROM installation or ECM.
52 Faulty CALPAC
55 Faulty ECM.
(1) Code 12 will display only if no reference pulses are received by the ECM; it will never be stored as a malfunction.
NOTE: On TBI models only, "CHECK ENGINE" light will indicate operational mode of engine. In closed loop, the "CHECK ENGINE" light will flash at a rate of 1 flash per second. In open loop, the "CHECK ENGINE" light will flash at a rate of 2.5 flashes per second.
