Fuel Injected Engines

  1. The ECM will set timing at a specified value when the "Test" terminal is grounded. To check EST operation, timing should be checked at 2000 RPM with the terminal not grounded.
  2. Ground the "Test" terminal. If timing changes at 2000 RPM, the EST is operating.
