Fuel Level Warning Light

  1. Disconnect connector from sender gauge. Ground terminal 2 through a 3.4 watt bulb. Turn ignition or starter switch to "ON" position. Check that bulb lights. If not, remove and test bulb.
  2. Apply battery voltage between terminals 2 and 3 through a 3.4 watt bulb. Check that bulb lights. Submerge switch in water. Check that bulb goes out. If not, replace sender gauge.
