Feedback Carburetor CEC System: Description

On 1987 Chevrolet Nova models the following systems are controlled by the Electronic Control Module (ECM) to control exhaust gas emissions:

• Fuel Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) System
• Carburetor Feedback System
• Deceleration Fuel Cut-Off System
• Cold Mixture Heater (CMH)

The ECM is the "brain" of the computerized engine control system.
