Reed Valve

The exhaust gas flowing in the wastegate manifold affects the operation cycle under positive or negative pressure from the engine.

When negative pressure is generated, the reed valve opens, the Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV) lifts the diaphragm by signal from the ECM, and air from the air duct is led to the wastegate manifold.
