Shift Control Cable: Spectrum

  1. Loosen adjustment nuts at control rod link. With transaxle in Neutral detent, place gearshift lever in the "N" position. Rotate bellcrank assembly clockwise to remove slack in cable.
  2. Tighten top adjustment nut until it makes contact with link, then tighten bottom adjustment nut until it makes contact with link. See Fig 1. Tighten nuts.
