Dropping Resistor

  1. Disconnect dropping resistor wiring at connector. Measure resistance between center terminal of resistor connector and other terminals. See Fig 1 .
  2. Standard resistance at all terminals should be 5-7 ohms. If any of measurements deviates from standard value, dropping resistor assembly must be replaced.
