Indicator Inoperative

  1. Remove ABS light driver module circuit board. Using a fused jumper, connect driver module terminal "E" to ground. Turn ignition on. If ABS indicator light does not come, check for poor connection at terminal "B" of connector C215 located behind instrument panel grommet or terminal "N" of cluster connector. Also check for open in Purple wire circuit or for faulty indicator bulb. If connector, terminal, wiring and bulb are okay, replace instrument cluster.
  2. If ABS indicator light comes on, connect fused jumper between ABS light driver module terminals "E" and "D". If indicator light does not come on, repair open in Black wire circuit.
  3. If indicator light comes on, remove fused jumper. Using test light, back probe driver module terminal "B" to ground. If test light does not come on, check for poor connection at terminal "A" of connector C215 located behind instrument panel grommet. If connection is okay, repair open in Pink/Black wire circuit.
  4. If test light comes on, turn ignition off. Disconnect electronic brake control module connector C1. Using test light, back probe between ABS light driver module terminals "B" and "C". Turn ignition on. If test light comes on, repair short to ground in Dark Blue wire circuit.
  5. If test light does not come on, reinstall ABS light driver module circuit board. If ABS indicator light does not come, replace ABS light driver module. If ABS indicator light comes on, check for poor connection at EBCM. If connections are okay, replace EBCM.
