Both Power Mirrors Do Not Operate

  1. Using test light, backprobe between power mirror switch connector terminal "E" (Orange wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6).
  2. Backprobe between power mirror switch connector terminals "E" (Orange wire) and "D" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 7).
  3. Check for poor connections at power mirror switch connector. If connections are not okay, go to next step. If connections are okay, go to step 5).
  4. Repair poor connections at power mirror switch connector. Recheck system operation.
  5. Replace power mirror switch. Recheck system operation.
  6. Repair poor connection or open in Orange wire between power mirror switch and fuse block. Recheck system operation.
  7. Repair poor connection or open in Black wire between power mirror switch and ground. Recheck system operation.
