Left Window Does Not Operate

  1. Disconnect left power side window switch connector. Disconnect left window motor connector. Connect self-powered test light between left power side window switch terminal "E" (Dark Blue wire) and left window motor connector terminal "A" (Dark Blue wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Dark Blue wire between left power side window switch and left window motor.
  2. Connect self-powered test light between left power side window switch connector terminal "A" (Brown wire) and left window motor connector terminal "B" (Brown wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Brown wire between left power side window switch and left window motor.
  3. Connect self-powered test light between left power side window switch connector terminals "E" (Dark Blue wire) and "G" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, replace left power side window switch.
  4. Connect self-powered test light between left power side window switch connector terminals "A" (Brown wire) and "G" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, replace left power side window switch.
  5. Connect test light between ground and left power side window switch connector terminal "H" (Yellow wire). Turn ignition switch to ACC position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Yellow wire between left power side window switch and instrument panel fuse block.
  6. Reconnect left power side window switch connector. Connect test light between ground and left window motor connector terminal "A" (Dark Blue wire). Press left power side window switch to UP position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, replace left power side window switch.
  7. Connect test light between ground and left window motor connector terminal "B" (Brown wire). Press left power side window switch to DOWN position. If test light illuminates and no mechanical problems exist, replace left window motor. If test light does not illuminate, replace left power side window switch.
