The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system is a supplementary vehicle entry device. Radio frequencies or discharged batteries may disable system.
Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system allows you to operate following components:
- Door locks.
- Rear compartment lid release.
- Panic alarm (instant alarm).
- Illuminated entry lights.
The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system has following main components:
- RKE transmitters.
- Body Control Module (BCM).
When a button on RKE transmitter is pressed, transmitter sends a signal to BCM. BCM interprets signal and activates requested function.
