Transmitter Programming (Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Module Equipped Vehicles)

  1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located under instrument panel, right of steering column.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position
  3. Select REMOTE FUNCTION ACTUATION.
  4. Select SPECIAL FUNCTIONS.
  5. Select PROGRAM KEY FOBS.
  6. Select number of RKE transmitters to be programmed.
  7. Press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on first RKE transmitter for approximately 15 seconds. Power locks should cycle to confirm programming of first RKE transmitter is complete.
  8. If you are programming more than one RKE transmitter, repeat previous step to program up to 4 RKE transmitters.
  9. Remove scan tool.
  10. Exit vehicle. Operate RKE transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.
