Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the OnStar® navigation antenna. Refer to NAVIGATION ANTENNA REPLACEMENT .
  2. Install the stationary window into the opening. Refer to Urethane Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows .
  3. Install the defroster grille. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER .
  4. Install the windshield interior garnish moldings. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - UPPER PILLAR .
  5. Install the inside rearview mirror. Refer to Rearview Mirror Replacement .
  6. Install the air inlet grille. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .

  7. Install the windshield frame filler panel. Refer to FILLER PANEL REPLACEMENT - UPPER FRONT FENDER .
  8. Close the hood
  9. Install the fixed antenna. Refer to FIXED ANTENNA MAST REPLACEMENT .
  10. Install the windshield wiper arms. Refer to WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT .
  11. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  12. Install the OnStar® cellular antenna. Refer to COUPLING REPLACEMENT - ANTENNA INNER and COUPLING REPLACEMENT - ANTENNA OUTER .
