Installation Procedure

  1. Install the accelerometer (1) to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the two bolts (2) that retain the accelerometer.

    Tighten 

    1. Tighten the two accelerometer bolts to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

  3. Connect the accelerometer electrical connector (2).

  4. Install the parking brake lever bezel (1).
  5. Install the parking brake lever bezel attaching screws (2).
  6. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK - ABS .
