Electronic Brake Control Module Replacement: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.

  2. Remove the air cleaner housing mounting bolts (1).
  3. Remove the air cleaner snorkel mounting bolts (2).

  4. Disconnect the air cleaner tube (1).
  5. Remove the air cleaner and snorkel assembly.

  6. Disconnect the electronic brake control module (EBCM) electrical connector (2).
  7. Remove the EBCM attaching bolts (1).
  8. Remove the EBCM.
