Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the accelerator control cable (1) from the accelerator pedal (2).
  2. Push the accelerator control cable through the bulkhead grommet.

  3. Disconnect the accelerator control cable from the throttle body by rotating the throttle lever (1) to wide open throttle (WOT) and removing the cable end from the slot (2).

  4. Loosen the accelerator control cable locknut (3) and the accelerator control cable adjusting nut (2).
  5. Remove the accelerator control cable (1) from the vehicle.
