Removal Procedure

  1. Ensure that the ignition switch is in the off position.
  2. Remove the right sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Remove the body control module (BCM) (2).
  4. Disconnect the BCM connectors from the BCM.
