Installation Procedure

  1. If the air cleaner assembly (1) was replaced, install the MAF sensor. Refer to Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Replacement .

  2. Install the air cleaner assembly (1) by inserting the two rubber alignment grommets into the radiator core support behind the right headlight.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the air cleaner assembly attachment bolt (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  5. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement .
