Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the right side instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

  3. Push the release tab on the bottom of the bracket to release the body control module (BCM).
  4. Slide the BCM from the bracket.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
