Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable and then disconnect the battery positive cable.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Battery Hold Down Bar, Bracket And Nuts

  2. Loosen the nuts that fasten the battery hold-down bar bracket.
  3. Remove the battery hold-down bar bracket with the nuts attached.
  4. Remove the battery from the battery tray.
