Installation Procedure

  1. Install the NEW air cleaner element (1) to the air cleaner assembly.

  2. Install the air cleaner upper housing (2) to the air cleaner assembly.
    3. NOTE:

    Listen for an audible click to confirm correct installation of the air cleaner lower housing retaining clips (3).

  3. Install the air cleaner lower housing retaining clips (3) to the upper air cleaner housing (2).
  4. Connect the TIAP sensor harness connector (5) to the TIAP sensor (6).
  5. Connect the MAF sensor harness connector (1) to the MAF sensor (8).
    6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Install the air cleaner outlet duct retaining clamp (7) and tighten to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
