Installation Procedure

  1. Attach the fuel pump flow control module (1) to the battery tray (3).
  2. Attach the fuel pump flow control module retainers (4).
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the fuel pump flow control module to battery tray underside retaining nut (2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  4. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
  5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
  6. Install the left side rear compartment side trim panel access hole cover.
    7. NOTE:

    When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support.

  7. Remove the suitable liftgate brace from the vehicle.
  8. Close the liftgate.
